Provencal cooking at Mas des Carassins

Every Wednesday and Thursday from march till end of june and from september till mid november, our chef Yvan suggests to join a cooking class which will allow you when back home to impress your family and friends with simple and tasty receipees. You will enjoy an unforgettable experience during these moments at le mas des carassins.

Our philosophy :
to learn simple receipees, easy, quick to elaborate with fresh products which will surprise your guests.
Maximum of 6 pupils per courses minimum 2 people which allows you a direct contact with the chef who will be able to guide you and answer to all your questions.

your Daily Planning :
Your lesson will start at 9.30 am at the hotel le mas des carassins where we will meet for a welcome coffee and a reminder of the different stages of the day.
We will leave with the chef « Yvan » to our local fruits and vegetables » producer ; we will discover there the regional products, the forgotten ones and the seasonal ones which we will use for our receipee.
We will visit then a goat cheese factory.
We will be back at 10.30 am at the hotel ; discovery of the « herbs garden » local ones and traditionnal one ».
Then we will start properly the cooking class. During 2.5 hours, Yvan will initiate you to his receipees and all his « small secrets ».
You will learn how to prepare a lamb leg, how to cook crispy vegetables, how to prepare filet from an entire fish, and much more…
Around 1.15 pm, you will have lunch either in our veranda opened on the garden or in the shade of the olive trees weather permitted.

Cooking lessons are given from 2 persons minimum till 6 persons maximum :

Group 2 persons 135 € per person
Group 3 persons 120 € per person
Group 4 persons 110 € per person
Group 5/6 persons 100 € per person


Wine from le mas de lansac « Eleone de Sabran Pontaves » blanc rouge ou rose included vin de pays des bouches du rhone half bottle, coffee with mignardises.
